I purchased Halo Wars 2 but I can not figure out how to download it on my PC. It shows that I own it under "My Library" in the Microsoft Store app on my Windows 10 PC - which has all current updates and far exceeds the minimum hardware requirements for the game.
In that app, the install button is replaced with "Install on Xbox One" and "See 'Available on' below for devices this product runs on. It won't run on this one. Within the Xbox app, it shows that I do not own any games and must purchase the game to play it on my PC. Just for kicks, how to download halo wars 2 on pc, I did install the game on my Xbox which is tied to the same Xbox Live account but still can not install the game on my PC. I also tried the "clean boot" method I've seen suggested elsewhere but it did not work.

And I don't have any messages on xbox. com even though I bought the game in December. I just figured it out. I had to search the Windows Store for the "Standard Edition" and it will let me download from there. Strange that the one shown in My Library will how to download halo wars 2 on pc install but this one will Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.
